Trustrobot Participates in Phoenix Contact Intelligent Manufacturing Project

Customer Name: Phoenix Contact (Nanjing) R&D Engineering Center Co., Ltd.

Customer Introduction: Phoenix Contact Group is a world-class professional manufacturer of electrical connections, providing world-class products and quality services to industries such as power, electronics, communications, machinery, construction, petroleum, chemicals, aviation, transportation, railway transportation, automotive manufacturing, and industrial automation.

Use Case: Phoenix Contact Industry 4.0 Production Line 3D Real-time Monitoring System

System Composition: ABB robots, Adept AGV, Phoenix Contact PLC

Product: HedraSMF Smart Factory (Offline Enterprise High-end Version + Online Control Version)

Application: Power bank demonstration line. Our company's robot production line simulation software helped Phoenix Contact complete offline and online simulation of the power bank intelligent manufacturing demonstration line.

This demonstration line mainly displays the entire intelligent production process of product personalized customization, intelligent assembly, visual inspection, and packaging & labeling. It realizes flexible production and customized production of products. Users can place order information through mobile terminals and send it to the MES system, implementing real-time production updates and coordinating related units for coordinated production. The demonstration line can feedback order status in real-time and interact with users.

Offline Simulation: Offline simulation is used to analyze production line layout planning rationality, robot reachability, offline programming, collision checking, cycle time control, etc. before robot production line planning.

Online Simulation: Online monitoring simulation is applied to intelligent manufacturing workshops formed after production line construction. Equipment on the production line establishes a one-to-one correspondence with simulation models. Signals and data in actual production processes are transmitted back to the simulation end in real-time for analysis to form decisions and build closed loops for automatic production scheduling. Simulation software can be integrated within the MES system and communicate with the ERP system.

Product Features:

1. Simulation Engine: By using virtual reality technology, users can import digital models in the work unit environment, perform offline programming, and then conduct simulation and conflict detection.

2. Robot Library: Supports all robots of more than 30 mainstream robot brands on the market. Models have complete motion algorithm control and parameterization, capable of simulating robot joint motion and working with different brand robots.

3. PLC Module: Connects simulation and control systems. Uses industry-standard OPC UA or supports specified PLC data interfaces to simulate real-time production activities, collect and analyze real-time data for analysis and improvement.

Customer Evaluation: "Trustrobot's independently developed new generation robot production line virtual simulation and offline programming software HedraSMF has usability far exceeding similar foreign software."
