According to a March 2016 report by Caixin, the Ministry of Education's announcement on the 2015 undergraduate major filing and approval results revealed that Southeast University in Nanjing was the first university nationwide to establish a "Robot Engineering" undergraduate major. Previously, institutions offering this major were mostly vocational or technical schools, and currently 85 undergraduate universities in China offer the Robotics Engineering major. Trustrobot formally signed an agreement with the School of Automation at Southeast University in September, providing HedraSMF and the Smart Factory Simulation and Programming Platform for laboratory teaching. We are collaborating with the university to develop undergraduate training objectives, build curriculum systems and teaching content, while also providing simulation platforms and technical support for graduate-level software development projects.
Trustrobot has previously signed agreements with the School of Mechanical Engineering at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, the School of Mechatronics Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the School of Sensors at Southeast University, providing simulation software licenses and related technical support for their graduate projects and undergraduate education.
